I just completed a new short film called Collision. It is a science fiction/horror about the planet Jupiter colliding with Earth starring Alan Wallace and Michelle Nyberg. Music was composed by Nitzan Sagie.
I’ve been working with Amnesty International lately;
Here’s one video I shot for them a few days ago. Disturbing images, important topic. Link to take action is described at the end of the video.

Today I earned three new credits as director on IMDB (plus three pending writer credits). You can view them here! These came as the three films were picked up for distribution; check them out here on my site under the “my own film work” section.
In addition, a film I worked on earlier in the year will feature on BBC 2 (Scotland) as part of the Landward segment. Broadcast date is Friday 18th October from 7pm.
I recently had the pleasure of staying in Finland for a week of filming work where I met wonderful people and made great memories. I took my camera with me and slammed some footage together with a track by DJ Madeon to produce the video below. As always, there is room for improvement but I had a great time making it!
For fun, I made this short PlayStation themed mini advert (?) cut to music. I created the visuals using a UV light with a blue gel placed on a rowing machine, which I moved backwards and forewards, catching the paintwork on the console in interesting ways. For one shot, the camera took it’s place – the rowing machine taking on the job of a dolly track. I did very little with the colours; the only grading performed was to bring the blacks up in order to crush some of the unwanted detail on the table cloth underneath the console and controller…
Overall, this was an enjoyable mini project. It took 6 hours to complete. I aim to learn more about Cinematography in order to become more employable in the role.
I had a few hours spare over the past week or so. I threw together this Star Trek fan film which takes the form of a fake advert for a position aboard the Enterprise-D. Functional 3D was done using Element 3D by VideoCoPilot. Meshes were obtained from trekmeshes.ch. Voiceover by Mariah Sinclair. This video is based on Star Trek franchise, copyright Paramount. Please see notice at the end of the video.
This was a great learning project, you can see the video below the screenshots below.
And, the film itself…
I’ve undertaken a new project as Producer & all round show runner – an animated action/comedy short called Ghost Puncher. The project is being developed from a concept and early script by Amaury Bigeard. Aiming to wrap it up before 2013 is over…
For now, a title card has been created…More information to follow!
Here’s a (mysterious) teaser trailer for three animation/live action hybrid films I produced, wrote, directed and animated.
Working on distribution and so on – release date and further details TBC (the films are locked).
